Nutrient Shortfalls

What dietary shortfalls does this product address?

Vitamin C is a shortfall nutrient - almost 1/2 of U.S. adults don't get enough Vitamin C from their daily food intake. Vitamin D is also a shortfall nutrient. 95% of the U.S. adult population fall short of Vitamin D in their daily food intake, and almost 1/3 are Vitamin D deficient. Where do we normally get this product from?

Vitamin C is found in citrus fruits like oranges, lemons, grapefruit, and limes. It’s also found in tomatoes, red peppers, broccoli, and strawberries. Zinc is found in beef, poultry, and shellfish. Sunlight provides the main source of Vitamin D, but this nutrient can also be found in small amounts in some fatty fish (such as salmon, tuna, and sardines). Selenium is a trace mineral present in the soil, so it’s found in plant foods as well as in animals that eat plants. Foods with Selenium include meat, poultry, eggs, as well as bread and other grain products.
