Magnesium is an essential mineral that assists in more than 300 metabolic reactions in the body, however, over half of U.S. adults (54%) don’t consume enough Magnesium in their daily diet [1].†
Food sources of magnesium include whole grains (e.g., brown rice, oat bran, whole wheat), dark green leafy vegetables, nuts and beans.
Glad you asked! If your diet lacks Magnesium-rich foods, a Magnesium supplement may help meet your dietary needs. Health experts recommend a daily dietary intake of 400–420 mg/day for men and 310–320 mg/day for women.
