What's in our Calcium 600 mg with Vitamin D3 Tablets
Amount Per Serving: 600 mg Calcium, 10 mcg (400 UI) Vitamin D
Item #1473
Calcium is the most abundant mineral in your body, and most of it is stored in your bones and teeth [1]. Adequate Calcium throughout life, as part of a well-balanced diet, may reduce the risk of osteoporosis. However, 43% of American adults have dietary Calcium intake below the estimated average requirements (EAR) [2].
Calcium comes from foods like milk, yogurt, cheese, legumes, and green vegetables like broccoli and kale. Sunlight provides the main source of our Vitamin D requirements (without sunscreen). Vitamin D can also be obtained from food such as fatty fish, like salmon and mackerel, as well as in fortified milk.
Great question! If you’re low in Calcium or need supplemental Calcium to support strong bones.
Adults, take 1 tablet 1 to 2 times daily with water and a meal.
