1971 - Nature Made is Founded

Nature Made was founded in 1971 by Barry Pressman and Henry Burdick, who believed there was a better alternative to long term health than prescription drugs.

1981 - Nature Made joins CRN

Nature Made joins Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), an important trade association and lobbying group representing ingredient suppliers and manufacturers in the dietary supplement industry.

1997 - Pharmacist Recommended

Nature Made is recognized as the #1 Pharmacist-Recommended Vitamin and Supplement Brand in key vitamin and supplement segments. Pharmacists have continued to recommend Nature Made in various vitamin and supplement segments for over 20 years.*

1999 – Scientific Advisory Board

Nature Made establishes a scientific advisory board to help ensure our products are high quality, nutritionally beneficial, and safe when used as directed.

2002 – First USP-Verified Vitamin & Supplement Brand

Nature Made is the first dietary supplement verified by United States Pharmacopeia (USP), an independent third party that verifies products that meet stringent quality criteria for purity and potency.

2005 – #1 Vitamin & Supplement Brand

Nature Made becomes the #1 broadline vitamin and supplement brand in the U.S., ensuring consumers have access to high-quality supplements backed by science.

2016 – First USP-Verified Gummy Brand

Nature Made becomes the first USP-verified gummy brand.

2022 – Launched Nature Made® Wellblends™ Collection

A complete line of scientifically-designed blends that target specific sleep, stress & immune health needs.
