Hello Nature Made-
I wanted to thank you for making SAM-e. I read an article on SAM-e on your website on Friday, bought the product Saturday and began to feel better shortly thereafter!
I am the mother of two infants--26 months and 9 months--and had been feeling very overwhelmed. I needed some help to feel in control of my life again. SAM-e has really helped me and I have decided it will be part of my daily regimen from now on. Thanks again!

Thanks LeEtte! SAM-e is involved in over 40 biochemical reactions in the body. SAM-e is involved in methylation in the body, which is critical in the manufacturing of many body components, such as brain neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine. SAM-e helps regulate these nuerotransmitters, that affect our mood. SAM-e is also required for sulfur-containing compounds, such as glutathione, which is a powerful antioxidant in the body that helps fight off substances that damage our cells, particularly in the liver. SAM-e is involved in maintaining and manufacturing cartilage components that can help alleviate joint problems/pain. Because of the different reactions SAM-e is involved, its benefits vary from joint and liver health, to mood enhancement. SAM-e is recommended to be part of a daily regimen for Mood/Emotional Well Being, Bone/Joint Health.
